Explore San Francisco on a bike! We have two locations to start from for your convenience.
If you would like to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, possibly explore Sausalito and return to San Francisco via Ferry, then please visit our Fisherman’s Wharf location.
Address: 2718 Hyde Street, San Francisco, CA 94109
The beginning of the bike path leading all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge starts just half a block down the street from this location. With no cars, just pedestrians and bikes, safely bike your way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Rest up by the Warming Hut Café at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, enjoy the breath-taking views of the bridge.
Make your way up to bridge level by a 10-minute walk with your bike, or a short incline cycle. Enjoy the breeze and the mesmerizing views as you bike across the Golden Gate Bridge! After crossing the bridge, you have the choice of turning around and biking back, or you may proceed 2 miles (3 km) downhill to Sausalito. From Sausalito we highly recommend taking the ferry back to San Francisco.
(Recommended for families with kids, and those uncomfortable biking on public roads alongside road traffic)
If you prefer to explore the city, visit the Painted Ladies, or cruise through Golden Gate Park, then our Union Square location is the most convenient starting point for you.
